About this product
Multiflo® MF diesel-driven pump units are custom built by our team of expert dewatering engineers to ensure survival under the most unique operating conditions and applications. Overview The Multiflo® MF pumps range is especially engineered to operate in variable and harsh environments while maintaining efficiency at both high-volume flow and extra-high heads. Each pump unit is powered by a diesel engine, and features a stainless steel non-return valve that allows full flow with minimal restriction. With its overall robust build, the Multiflo® MF pump unit is suited to a variety of applications including mining, quarrying, industrial, water transfer and environmental water management applications. Compared to other dewatering units, the Multiflo® MF pump series offers the following benefits: • Close-coupled pump assembly to ensure accurate pump alignment and improved wear life • Features a pump shaft fitted with a stainless steel shaft sleeve to protect the shaft from wear across variable applications and operating conditions • Features an auto vacuum pump priming system to ensure continuous and reliable start up time after time • Its heavy-duty pump unit base has an inbuilt bunded fuel cell for ease of movement around site • The two-pack epoxy paint system helps to provide protection in harsh working environments • Features a heavy-duty engine canopy to protect the unit from environmental impacts and debris For more information about our range of Multiflo® dewatering pump units, please get in touch with our team. Frequently Asked Questions What is dirty water? ‘Dirty water’ is the name given to water with too high a percentage of suspended solids to be ‘clean’, but too low of a percentage to be classed as slurry. Dirty water becomes a problem onsite when the solids concentrate inside a dewatering pump collects around the motor frame, overheating the pump and causing the motor to fail. How is the Multiflo® MF pump mounted? The Multiflo® MF pump unit can be mounted on a pontoon or skid for maximum flexibility. Features and benefits Enhanced Abrasion and Corrosion Resistance The innovative engineering and efficient fluid handling of our Multiflo® MF diesel-driven pump units are complemented by the heavy-duty wear-resistant materials of construction that include: • 316SS (Austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel) • H7A (Precipitation hardened martensitic stainless steel) and • CD4MCu (duplex stainless steel) These materials provide enhanced abrasion and corrosion resistance. Available in Different Configurations to Suit the Application The Multiflo® MF pump is available in different configurations to meet the varied demands of dewatering applications around the world. These pump units can be supplied as draggable-skid or pontoon-mounted packages with diesel engines (T3 & T4F rated engine emissions) or electric motors drive options. No matter the configuration, the Multiflo® MF pump range provides a dependable pumping solution with flow rates ranging from 100m3/h to 2,200m3/h and discharge heads of 30m to 220m. Reliable Construction The enclosed impeller is further supported by a stout bearing frame and large-diameter shaft that is less prone to deflection during cavitation. The Multiflo® MF pump range is more forgiving than similar pumps on the market and the design is proven to result in fewer bearing failures and far fewer instances of shaft breakage in extreme conditions. Great Efficiency The pump features a hydraulically superior enclosed impeller design and larger-diameter pump shafts that allow the Multiflo® MF pump unit to efficiently handle large solids while reducing operational and maintenance costs. This is achieved through the advanced, high-efficiency pump-end that requires less energy to process fluids, operating under reduced power requirements, and in-turn consuming less fuel (LPH) or electricity (kW/h). In addition to being highly versatile and mobile, the Multiflo® MF pump unit is engineered for efficiency with a proven, enclosed impeller design and leading-edge materials that dramatically reduce total cost of ownership. Provides a Mobile Dewatering Solution These units offer a robust and high performing mobile dewatering pump solution. They are suitable for sites with variable conditions, including applications where liquids contain high percentages of solids to be transported or acidic conditions with low pH values.
