About this product

Multiflo® RF pump units are designed to provide the durability of the Multiflo® MF range but in a lighter-weight, more mobile and compact package. Overview The Multiflo® RF range is especially engineered to operate in variable and harsh environments while maintaining efficiency at both high volume flow and extra high heads. Each Multiflo® RF pump unit is powered by a diesel engine, and features a stainless steel non-return valve that allows full flow with minimal restriction. With its overall robust build, the Multiflo® RF pump unit is suited to a variety of applications including mining, quarrying, industrial, water transfer and environmental water management applications. Compared to other dewatering units, the Multiflo RF pump series offer the following benefits: • Close-coupled pump assembly to ensure accurate pump alignment and improve wear life • Pump shaft fitted with a stainless steel shaft sleeve to protect the shaft from wear across variable applications and operating conditions • Auto vacuum pump priming system to ensure continuous and reliable start up time after time • Compact heavy duty pump unit base with inbuilt bunded fuel cell for ease of movement around site • Two-pack epoxy paint system to provide protection in harsh working environments • Heavy-duty engine canopy to help protect the unit from environmental impacts and debris • Incorporate an integrated push bar and wear-plate skid runners to offer the durability of the Multiflo® MF range in a lighter-weight, more mobile and compact package. Frequently Asked Questions What is dirty water? ‘Dirty water’ is the name given to water with too high a percentage of suspended solids to be ‘clean’, but too low of a percentage to be classed as slurry. Dirty water becomes a problem onsite when the solids concentrate inside a dewatering pump collects around the motor frame, overheating the pump and causing the motor to fail. How is the Multiflo® RF pump mounted? The Multiflo® RF diesel-driven pump unit can be mounted on a pontoon or skid for maximum flexibility. Features and benefits Enhanced Abrasion and Corrosion Resistance The innovative engineering and efficient fluid handling of our Multiflo® RF diesel-driven pump units are complemented by the heavy-duty wear-resistant materials of construction that include: • 316SS (Austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel) • H7A (Precipitation hardened martensitic stainless steel) and • CD4MCu (duplex stainless steel) These materials provide enhanced abrasion and corrosion resistance. Available in Different Configurations to Suit the Application The Multiflo® RF self-priming pump is available in different configurations to meet the varied demands of dewatering applications around the world. The Multiflo® RF self-priming pump can be supplied as draggable-skid or pontoon-mounted packages with diesel engines (T3 & T4F rated engine emissions) or electric motors drive options. No matter the configuration, the Multiflo® RF pump range provides a dependable pumping solution with flow rates ranging from 150m3/h to 2,200m3/h and discharge heads of 50m to 220m. Provides a Mobile Dewatering Solution Offers robust and high performing mobile dewatering pump packages suitable for sites with variable conditions, including applications where liquids may contain high percentages of solids to be transported or acidic conditions with low pH values. Great Efficiency The pump features a hydraulically-superior enclosed impeller design and larger-diameter pump shafts that allow the Multiflo® RF pump unit to efficiently handle large solids, while reducing operational and maintenance costs. This is achieved through the advanced, high-efficiency pump end that requires less energy to process fluids, operating under reduced power requirements. In turn, this means that it consumes less fuel (LPH) and electricity (kW/h). In addition to being highly versatile and mobile, the Multiflo® RF pump unit is engineered for efficiency with a proven, enclosed impeller design and leading-edge materials that dramatically reduce total cost of ownership. Reliable Construction The enclosed impeller is further supported by a stout bearing frame and large-diameter shaft that is less prone to deflection during cavitation. The Multiflo® RF pump range is more forgiving than similar pumps on the market and the design is proven to result in fewer bearing failures and far fewer instances of shaft breakage in extreme conditions. Engineered-to-order (ETO) Custom Solutions Having in-house engineering expertise means that we work directly with our customers to create solutions that consolidate waste to recover more product more easily, while also extracting reusable water and sending it back into the process plant more quickly than standard solutions. With our extensive product portfolio we are equipped to provide the entire solution. From initial consultation and design, to manufacturing, commission, and training and supervision of site operators.
