Our Multiflo® SJG portable submersible pump is lightweight and designed for safe, efficient and reliable dewatering applications. It is also available with or without a pump float. Overview The Multiflo® SJG portable submersible pump consists of a lightweight pump design and proven materials of construction to create a dewatering pump solution that is both efficient and reliable. This pump can be used for a variety of quarry or industrial site dewatering applications including fluid management and pond water return. This submersible dewatering pump comes standard with a tandem TC/TC mechanical seal, an adjustable nitrile rubber lined diffuser and wear plate, epoxy coated casings, automatic thermal overloads within the motor stator windings, sacrificial zinc anodes and one meter of stainless steel outer braiding at the pump cable entry. The Multiflo® SJG submersible dewatering pump is able to provide an ideal balance between wear resistance and portability because of its unique lightweight design features. Although made up of a robust construction with an aluminium/steel outer casing, stainless steel shaft, and nitrile-lined rubber diffuser and wear plate, this submersible pump is lightweight and efficient. This makes it an ideal portable submersible pump. Complemented further with an epoxy coated outer and stator casing, the Multiflo® SJG submersible dewatering pump is able to provide great wear, corrosion and erosion resistance. How does the Multiflo® SJG submersible pump combat overheating? Overheating is one of the most common recurring issues we see when using submersible pumps for dewatering applications. To combat this, our pumps feature automatic shut offs (thermal overloads) that are embedded within the stator winding to protect the motor if it starts to run dry. How does the Multiflo® SJG submersible pump improve safety and sustainability on site? The Multiflo® SJG submersible dewatering pump supports site safety by using environmentally safe, FDA-approved food-grade oil and screened power cables. The power cables come standard with one meter of stainless-steel outer braiding at the pump cable entry for added strain relief and durability. The braided cord provides extra reinforcement where the cable needs it most, to prevent damage to its most critical parts. Additionally, using a food-grade oil means that the pump won’t contaminate the location in the event of a spill and there are no toxic fumes.
