About this product

Our range of Multiflo® polyethylene modular submersible pump floats offer a solution to suspend up to two submersible pumps vertically or horizontally without the need for large flotation equipment. Overview Multiflo® polyethylene submersible pump floats are specifically designed for submersible pump applications. They offer a solution to vertically suspend one submersible pump without the need for large flotation equipment such as pontoons and barges. Our range of Multiflo® ball floats come in three different sizes with up to 452kg of buoy capacity and can be used across a range of environments. They are also rated for temperatures between -45°C and +40°C. Compared to other types of pump floats, Multiflo® submersible pump floats offer the following benefits: • A simple design meaning they can be assembled and installed quickly on site. • Simple economical flotation • Suspend pumps vertically • Engineered specifically for submersible pump applications • Available in range of sizes and buoyancy capacities • Roto-moulded, seamless, construction with ribbed reinforcing for superior durability and strength • Contain marine-grade close-cell foam • Made from UV-resistant, corrosion-free polyethylene • Contain a single lifting eye point connection For more information about our range of Multiflo® submersible pump floats, please get in touch with our team. Multiflo® EC Polyethylene Floating Pontoon Barge System How many pumps can be floated with the Multiflo® submersible pump float? One submersible pump can be floated by one Multiflo® submersible pump ball float. What is the maximum capacity of the Multiflo® submersible pump float? The large Multiflo® submersible pump frame can float up to 2,360 kgs (5190lbs) of buoyancy. Features and benefits Simple Design The simple design of the Multiflo® submersible pump ball float means it is easy to assemble and deploy quickly when it's needed. Can Suspend Pumps Vertically Pumps can be suspended securely in a vertical orientation using spreader bar and chain connections for optimal stability. Our global team of in-house dewatering specialists are positioned close to our customers to ensure rapid response where it counts. With over 40 years of dewatering expertise across the globe, our engineers are well equipped to provide tailored fluid management solutions to help customers take back control of their water. We are an original equipment manufacturer in the truest sense – we develop, design and manufacture the end-product in our ISO accredited facilities. Together with our innovative engineering and leading-edge materials technology, our team of passionate dewatering specialists ensure that you not only receive the best-in-class equipment, but expert configuration and support to optimise even the most challenging applications. Water can be unpredictable and so can site requirements - that’s why we regularly put our engineering skills to the test in the development of engineered-to-order solutions. Using simulation techniques such as Discrete Element Modelling (DEM), our team of specialists study the ins and outs of each operation to deliver integrated solutions for a wide range of sand and aggregates, mining, and industrial applications. Applications Multiflo® polyethylene submersible pump floats are frequently used within low-concentration (unthickened) slurry and dewatering applications, especially those involving the removal of wastewater and water containing light to heavy solids. These pump floats can be used for multiple purposes within various industries, and for processes including tailings water reclaim and surface or underground mining applications. However, they are especially designed for submersible pump applications. • Wastewater • Water with heavy solids • Water with light solids • Water with medium solids Product specifications Replacement parts Multiflo® pontoon barges are renowned for their low maintenance requirements having been designed, manufactured and installed to operate in demanding conditions. However, if you do require replacement parts, please contact our team. Product upgrades and modifications Discharge hoses and piping are available in a range of materials and can be customised to suit a variety of applications (e.g. for different temperature considerations). Services and maintenance All Multiflo® pump floats are backed by our unmatched Weir Minerals service centre network.
