It is used in the manufacture of a wide range of products, including bakery products (biscuits), sheeted and extruded snacks, soups, sauces, gravies, puddings and pie fillings, pudding powders, and dairy desserts, processed meat, etc. It is also used in various applications in the paper industry. It is a white powder with a neutral taste.
