Orion® Line Premium 3 Strand Rope A new generation of Orion® Line has now been developed in a composition of polyester with high tenacity polypropylene fibres. Due to intensive research and development we have achieved an improved breaking strength of 15% over the previous Orion® Line. This combination of fibres has proven in the practical field to be highly suitable in situations where the strength of the rope must be superior to standard polypropylene. Abrasion-resistance is substantially increased, which improves safety and the life-time of this rope. Orion® Line Premium has a specific gravity of 0,98, therefore it floats. Orion® Line Premium is produced in 8 and 12 strands plaited, which are kink free constructions. Orion® Line Premium can also be available in 3 and 4 strands on request. The UV-stabilizer protects the rope against deterioration by UV-radiation, thus contributing to the economic lifetime of the Orion® Line Premium.
