X-Trema Line 12-Strand Braid Rope Highest strength at lowest weight X-TREMA LINE is a 12-strand braided rope made from genuine Dyneema® SK78 fiber. X-TREMA LINE is unprecedented in its strength-weight ratio, providing break strengths comparable to steel wire rope, at only about 1/7th of the weight and at similar diameters. The unique properties of the Dyneema® yarn provide X-TREMA LINE with excellent resistance to abrasion, UV, salt water and most chemicals. Further to that, X-TREMA LINE has a specific gravity of only 0.975, making it float on water and extremely light, providing unparalleled ergonomics to those handling the rope and allowing for faster operations both in ports and on open sea.
