Designed for efficient remote mechanical actuation, this Mechanical Control Cable transfers operator input from the handle to the controlled mechanism with smooth and responsive movement. The flexible inner cable works inside the protective conduit to reduce unnecessary resistance and help maintain consistent operating feel throughout the stroke.
Proper cable construction and routing are especially important for equipment requiring frequent manual operation, where excessive friction can increase operator effort and affect control response.
A Mechanical Control Cable provides a flexible connection between the operator and a remote mechanical component, transferring pulling force and movement without requiring a straight rigid linkage.
When the handle is actuated, the inner cable transfers the input motion to a remote lever, latch or linkage mechanism. This allows controls to be positioned where they are convenient for the operator while the actual mechanism remains elsewhere inside the equipment.
Suitable for throttle control, choke operation, latch and seat release, clutch actuation, engine shutoff and other remote mechanical functions.
Unlike rigid rods and fixed mechanical linkages, a Mechanical Control Cable can be routed around equipment frames, panels and internal components, providing greater freedom when designing compact or complex machinery.
