The red outer sheath measures 1020mm, the inner brake steel wire extends 1216mm with a 3.5mm core diameter. The wheel brake bell fitting comes with 26mm outer / 23.3mm inner diameter and M12×1.5 adjusting thread, with manufacturing tolerance limited within ±5mm. No cutting or modification is required for trailer mounting. This new-style detachable Bowden Cable features an integrated large mushroom terminal, different from outdated M8 threaded brake wires. Its mushroom-and-cup fast-fit system works for both left-hand and right-hand AL-KO trailer backplates. Hub disassembly is unnecessary during cable replacement, saving lots of maintenance time for workshops, caravan and boat trailer DIY repair. Our Profi long-life Bowden Cable adopts dual-layer protective construction with a polymer inner liner inside the red outer casing.
