About this product

ELB-ALU 4043 - MIG: MIG wire 5% Si alloyed aluminium. Suitable for welding Al-Si 2-7%, and Al-Mg-Si alloys. Excellent welding features due to the high Si content. It is used in the construction of structures for architectonic uses, trailer-truck bodies, tanks and castings repair. Excellent resistance to atmospheric oxidation. Protective gas: ARGON ( I1 ) or ARGON HELIUM ( I3 ) ELB-ALU 5183 - MIG: Solid wire in magnesium-manganese alloyed aluminium, for welding Al Mg 4,5% Mn alloy. Good resistance to atmospheric corrosion. Suitable for joining structures, in shipbuilding, tanks construction and the railway sector. Protective gas: ARGON ( I1 ) or ARGON HELIUM ( I3 ) ELB-ALU 5356 - MIG: Solid aluminium wire suitable for welding alloys containing up to 5% magnesium, used in the construction of structures in shipbuilding, railways, automotive and tank sector. Good resistance to marine atmospheric corrosion. ARGON (l1) or ARGON HELIUM (I3) it the recommended protective gas. ELB-ALU 4043 - TIG: TIG rod 5% Si alloyed aluminium. Protective gas: ARGON ( I1 ) or ARGON HELIUM ( I3 ) ELB-ALU 5183 - TIG: TIG rods in magnesium-manganese alloyed aluminium, suitable for welding Al Mg 4,5% Mn alloy. Good resistance to marine atmospheric corrosion. Suitable for joining stressed structures, in shipbuilding, tanks construction and the railway sector. Use ARGON ( I1 ) or ARGON HELIUM (I3) protective gas. ELB-ALU 5356 - TIG: TIG rod in 5% Mg alloyed aluminium. Suitable for welding alloys containing up to 5% magnesium. It is used in the construction of structures in shipbuilding, railways and the auto and tank sectors. Good resistance to marine atmospheric corrosion. Protective gas: ARGON (I1) or ARGON HELIUM (I3). ELB-ALU 5554: Aluminium used to weld base alloys 5554 (and all 6000 series) at high temperatures with extremely low sensitivity to tension corrosion. Main applications of this alloy is in the Automotive and in general to all construction businesses where high welding temperatures are requested. ELB-ALU 5087: Aluminium used to weld Al alloys with max Mg content of 5 %. The Zirconium acts as a grain-refiner to improve the bending and the corrosion resistance. Ship building, off shore, railways and automotive industries ELB-ALU 1080: Aluminium used to weld pure aluminium with applications in Electro-technical, chemical and food industries. light industry, food industry ELB-4047MIG: Aluminium wire with a 12% content of Silicon granting softness and at low fusion temperatures. Used in brazing and welding of alu sheets, extrusion and melting. The low fusion temperature (about 530 °) avoid undesired deformation of usually thin base metal ELB-5754MIG: Aluminum alloy filler metal with maximum 3% Mg, characterized by corrosion-resistance and outstanding colour-uniformity after anodizing . Unlike other alloys with Mg > 3.5%, this alloy is resistant to intergranular corrosion and stress corrosion cracking after exposure to elevated temperatures (over 65°C). The weld metal is seawater-resistant. largely used in carrosserie and shipbuilding in addition to other industrial fields
