One example is the world-famous RUD ICE-Chain, which can replace a grade 8 chain of the next largest nominal thickness. Thanks to the extremely high strength of the patented material, the continuous nominal thickness increase has been achieved even with diameters of less than 16 mm. The decisive advantage: An ICE-Lifting mean or lashing chain is more than 30 percent lighter and the working ergonomics are noticeably improved.
